The Swiss LegalTech Association (SLTA) is a neutral, non-profit organization that serves as the industry representative for Switzerland's legal services sector. Officially recognized in this capacity, it maintains an advisory voice on relevant legislation and acts as a unifying framework for stakeholders including law firms, in-house legal departments, academia, and international legal tech associations.
SLTA focuses on technical domains such as AI adoption frameworks, blockchain, and smart contracts. Its work includes publishing think tank research in the form of white papers, operating a documentation center with extensive publications, and providing comprehensive market research services for the legal industry.
The association's activities are designed to foster legal technology development and keep the legal community informed. Key initiatives include educational programs, coaching, and networking events, alongside the organization of an Annual Legal Innovation conference. SLTA has a presence across Swiss cities including Zurich, Geneva, Ticino, and Bern, and represents a membership base of over 60 companies.
